First, the story is cute, charming and easy to follow. There are no gimmicky surprise twists. Just your basic boy meets girl romance. From the beginning, you kind of start rooting for our two leads to get together.

Secondly, I liked the actors who were chosen to play these characters. Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher create an ensemble that is engaging to watch.

Nora Ephron's cute scenario includes enough funny stuff to keep it light as the story plays out. Director, Rob Reiner likes his characters and his actors and elicits good performances from a proficient them. Billy Crystal
